Booking your Clinical Session
To book your sessions please read the terms and conditions below. Once you have indicated your agreement by clicking the proceed button you will be forwarded to an intake questionnaire which needs to be completed in full before being able to book an available session.
Terms and Conditions
As a psychologist I am required to:
Keep information about you private; open a client file for notes and information about the content/progress of counselling.
Seek additional assistance for you; or, contact relevant authorities if I think there is a risk of you harming yourself or others.
Report any incident of child abuse or child neglect that has been indicated by you.
Submit information / notes if subpoenaed by a court.
I may also:
Contact other workers that you have seen, like your doctor or another counsellor
Discuss your situation with a supervisor to prepare for your sessions
National Mental Health Record
Your treatment information can be uploaded to the National health record at your request. Good Psychology will not upload any information about you without your explicit request.
In order for Good Psychology to provide a receipt for Medicare rebate you must have the appropriate referral documentation
including a mental healthcare treatment plan. The Medicare regulations state that the referring medical practitioner must receive regular updates from the psychologist and approve the continuation of treatment before the additional sessions can be claimed though Medicare.

Fees and Payment
Good Psychology will collect and retain your credit card information for payment of fees and your bank account information for the return of your rebate if one applies. If claiming a private health or medicare rebate these details will also be collected. All of your information will be treated in the strictest confidence and we will never reveal your financial information to any other party unless subpoenaed by a court. Your information is protected by encryption and is stored on secure servers. The only people who can access this information are the employees or agents of Good Psychology, and only for the purpose of charging you the appropriate fees and processing rebates. Upon conclusion of treatment your financial information will be removed from our records.
Payment processing will occur automatically prior to the start of each session. It is your responsibility to ensure that adequate funds are available for the payment to be successfully processed at this time. If the payment is not successful the session will not commence and a full cancellation fee will be charged.
If you need to change or cancel an appointment please give us at least 72 hours notice. This allows us to offer your appointment to someone else.
IMPORTANT: If you cancel with less than 24 hrs notice or miss your appointment you will be charged the full
consultation fee. Exceptions to this may only be made due to illness or accident and you must provide appropriate medical evidence to be considered. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, but not within 24 hours of your appointment, you may be charged a 50% cancellation fee at the discretion of the practice. If you do not attend the session no medicare or private health rebate can be applied and you will be liable for the full cost of the session or cancellation fees.
In the event of the account being in default we will continue to attempt to charge the unpaid amount to your credit card. Should this not be successful the debt will be referred to an external party for collection and you shall
be liable for all resulting costs arising from the recovery, including commission which would be payable if the
account is paid in full and legal costs including demand costs. Unpaid accounts may affect your credit record.
